Calling on FAITH-BASED ACTORS

Writer/Director Nicole Newman-Colter whose career started at her local church drama productions is looking for FAITH-BASED ACTORS in particular for the upcoming musical stage play SUMMER RAINE set to premiere at the Herberger Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona November 2, 2014. Newman-Colter states: "So many actors in church rarely audition outside of their assemblies. I want to showcase, promote, enhance, and encourage faith-based actors with God-given talent. The Christian community is massive and one of the largest consumer buying groups. Just look at the success of Tyler Perry who took hollywood executives by storm starting with his church plays. Faith-based theatre and film is finally making it's mark main-stream. We are here to stay and thrive as Christians in the performing arts". Auditions are set and faith-based actors are encouraged to branch out on a bigger stage.
