A Performing Arts Guild is Born!

After starting a theatre company in 2010, our founder Nicole Newman-Colter has been hot on the scene, attending event after event when suddenly a conversation with her brother sparked an idea. The professional creativity Nicole was planning to offer locally, in the form a festival and workshop, could seamlessly transition into a yearly nationwide event.

Growing up the daugther of a pastor and working in particular with the performing arts at her church. Nicole remembered attending classes and buying tickets to workshops to increase her skills as she taught dance to the group she started at church and was the director of the church drama ministry.

Thus, O-Live! Performing Arts Guild is born! A faith-based guild for actors and dancers that will feature enhancement workshops and a yearly festival.
